Who do we serve?
The Pittsburgh Flower Exchange was established in 2022 to offer an easier route to local flowers for florists. Pittsburgh is home to so many micro-flower farmers that have unique crops with often limited quantities. PFX allows professionals to shop from multiple farmers in one place reducing ordering time, pickups, deliveries and all of the coordination that happens in between.

Ordering remains closed on Rooted Farmers.
Last minute requests should be emailed.
Floor availability is emailed to pass holders.

Rooted Farmers is an e-commerce site designed to assist American farmers and growers collectives. Buyers accounts are free and easy to make. A copy of your resale license is required at signup.

You will need an account to pre-order and review past orders, but if you are new and want to check out our floor offerings, we can check you out as a guest.

2 / Buyers Passes
PFX requires buyers passes and encourages you to purchase one at the start of the season even if you do not need any spring florals. Buyers passes are available to purchase on Rooted Farmers with our flowers during our regular order window.

A pass is not required for your first purchase, but will be added the next time you buy. Passes for new buyers at $50 and $25 for returning.
3 / Pickup vs. Delivery
PFX offers both pickup and delivery. Pickup is encouraged so that any quality issues can be addressed directly with PFX management at the time of pickup. You will also be able to shop our floor selection.
We understand pickup is not always an option. If you wish to utilize delivery, you must fill out our delivery sign up form above. Please fill out a new form each year if something changes. Someone must be present for delivery to transfer flowers into your own buckets. Otherwise you must leave buckets out for the delivery person. Deliveries fees are based on miles to our market hub in Glenshaw and are subject to change.
